CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT Sky Climber Remote, Heavy Travel   Job Summary Sky Climber LLC. has proven itself as a leader in the suspended access market by providing engineered suspended access and safety solutions in the commercial and industrial sectors.   - This position will be responsible for utilizing a holistic approach to implement project execution of these engineered systems through the management of Sky Climber Employees, Subcontractors, and consultants who may be performing work on Sky Climber’s behalf. You will be required to assist in providing information needed for Sky Climber to produce, deliver, and install customized products and systems used primarily for suspended exterior building maintenance. This will involve regular on and off-site coordination with the Sky Climber Engineering offices in Ohio and customer sites throughout the US or international locales. - Works with product management, sales personnel, industry consultants, general contractors, building representatives, and building owners to determine project deliverables for specific projects/job sites as well as with internal engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing resources to produce the products required to meet site specific project needs. - Sky Climber is a safety-driven company in which safe practices are of the utmost importance within our company culture. You will be expected to fully understand, educate, and implement personal safety, onsite safety, and industry safety standards before, during and after project execution. - The position requires frequent overnight travel, and timely communication with the production team on manufacturing scheduling and production.   Job Duties: - Manage scheduling, deliverables, installations, and inspections through the project life cycle - Interact with architects, construction project managers, and building management representatives to generate information required for all phases of equipment installation projects, from proposal development thru construction document coordination to installation and commissioning. - Establish and communicate project needs and requirements, including product definitions, special product design requirements, product quantities, supplier lead times, project schedules, product due dates, ship dates, transportation methods, etc. (what, when, where) - Assist the design team in developing designs for proposals, interpreting specifications, and writing project specific manuals. - Work with the design team in solving coordination issues that may arise throughout the project life cycle. - Develop and issue progress reports as required by internal/external customers. - Understand the customer billing cycle and submit detailed project progression for accurate and timely invoicing using AIA pay applications. - Visit project sites to generate information necessary to develop the Operating Procedure Outline Sheet (OPOS). - Maintain, on a daily/weekly basis, project schedules by monitoring project progress and coordinating activities. to ensure timely and smooth execution of projects and deliverables. - Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications. - Generate required BOM, cost models, and cost estimates, and fulfillment schedules for specific projects or job sites. - Familiar with Standard Construction Coordination Process principles, including progress billing, change order tracking and related software applications.  - Develop and submit required site-specific safety documentation including but not limited to, JSA’s, JSSP’s, SDS’s, OSHA Logs, and Employee Certifications. - Other duties as may be assigned.   Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred, or demonstrated comparable Permanent Access Industry experience. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Integrity and ability to work with others. - Conversant in Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, CAD/REVIT Viewing Software, Procore - Must be able to work flexible hours as needed; travel is frequent.  Hours may be irregular. - Maintain driving record acceptable to Sky Climber’s insurance carrier - Work is a mix of sedentary when driving and in the office and walking, reaching, and bending when visiting the customer’s facility or construction project sites. - OSHA 30 is preferred.

Job Summary   We are seeking a talented and creative Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a product design, from concept to manufacturing. Supporting our customers, both internal and external, is paramount and will be expected as a regular part of this position.  You will play a key role in ensuring our products are functional, high-quality, and manufacturable. Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, marketing, customers) to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Soldworks computer-aided design (CAD) software. - Conduct stress, deflection, and other analyses to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory specifications. - Develop and document detailed engineering drawings, including parts bills of materials and assembly instructions. - Prepare and maintain product documentation, including customer cut-sheets, reference drawings, installation and operating manuals, and calculations to support equipment designs. - Participate in the development and testing of prototypes. - Work closely with manufacturing to identify potential production challenges and recommend design improvements for cost reduction and manufacturability. - Support quality staff with investigation of product/equipment for out of specification conditions, assembly/use difficulties and/or failures to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations for improvements. - Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to product design and quality. - Stay up to date on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and manufacturing processes. - Other duties may be assigned. -    Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in a design engineering role within a manufacturing environment. - Proven experience with CAD software and file management systems (SolidWorks/PDM, Creo/Windchill, etc.). SolidWorks experience preferred. - Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, mechanics of materials, and machine design. - Blueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledge. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Prior experience with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) is a plus.   Environment: The job will be performed in an office environment (50%), test lab (20%) and in a manufacturing facility (30%).   Typical working hours: 8am to 5pm   Travel:  Limited (<20%)   Physical activity:  Primarily office based. The welder’s responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and metals, measuring and assembling metal pieces, using cutting tools, and determining gas ratios.   Responsibilities: - Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining aluminum/steel metals to specifications. - Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage. - Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately. - Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools. - Determining correct gas ratios. - Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion. - Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required. - Liaising with the supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement. Qualifications: - High School diploma or similar - Have at least 2 years’ experience in a welding position. - Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity. - Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. - Sound understanding of welding safety. - Willingness to be welding certified through company. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. - Ability to read tape measure accurately.
